Treatment and prevention of inflammatory skin conditions – The Australian Pharmacy Council

After participating in this program, participants will be better able to:

1. Counsel patients on the role of emollients in managing inflammatory skin conditions, and their role in preventing flare-ups
2. Advise when topical corticosteroids are indicated and identify which topical corticosteroids are available over-the-counter
3. Recommend appropriate lifestyle and medication choices to improve patient quality of life and safety
