Counsel patients on the role of emollients in managing inflammatory skin conditions, and their role in preventing flare-ups
Advise when topical corticosteroids are indicated and identify which topical corticosteroids are available over-the-counter
Recommend appropriate lifestyle and medication choices to improve patient quality of life and safety
