Completion of the following training deck is required for staff involved in the Your Health Nova Scotia (YHNS) program. It does not replace any standard privacy awareness training that you may be required to take, but contains supplemental information on key compliance issues, specific to Nova Scotia and the YHNS program.
Topics include: Nova Scotia’s privacy legislation, types of personal information, (y)our role with respect to the Nova Scotia Health Authority, data residency, and planning for changes to data processes, tools and/or flows.
The presentation is followed by a 5-question comprehension quiz, requiring a score of at least 80% to pass.
