2. Review how nicotine addiction is a major factor to a client’s underlying smoking behaviour
3. Assess a client for the barriers to smoking cessation
4. Determine the components of a very brief intervention for smoking cessation
5. Counsel a client on the pharmacotherapeutic options for smoking cessation
