Allergic rhinitis (AR) is a common disorder that often goes undetected in the primary care setting. However, AR can have a significant negative impact on a patient’s quality of life and is one of the strongest risk factors for the onset and incidence of asthma. This program reviews the correlation between AR symptom control and asthma control and discusses the latest clinical data and guideline recommendations to help guide the choice of treatment for AR. The goal of this program is to help clinicians optimize the management of allergic rhinitis in patients with comorbid asthma.
This program has received an unrestricted educational grant or in-kind support from Viatris.
