Course Description

The goal of this online program is to introduce clinicians to health economics principles that will enable them to describe the value of different antihyperglycemic agents in providing glycemic control and cardiovascular protection. It will also encourage clinicians to recognize the need for early and intensive treatment of type 2 diabetes to reduce the risk of complications and to reduce costs.
