On completion of this program, participants will be better able to:

1. Determine menopausal status and evaluate menopausal symptoms
2. Describe the evidence for menopausal hormone therapy and proactively engage perimenopausal and postmenopausal women in conversation about menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) options
3. Interpret the evidence regarding the safety and efficacy for MHT and common complementary and alternative medicines used in Australia
4. Address patient concerns regarding the risks and benefits of MHT for the management of vasomotor symptoms
