Course Description

GPs are often the first contact point for patients with chronic respiratory symptoms and play a vital role in the detection, diagnosis and management of COPD. COPD management should be individualised according to the person’s severity of symptoms, risk of exacerbations, comorbidities, patient response to pharmacotherapy and side effects, patient preference and ability to use various inhaler devices.
