Schizophrenia and Bipolar 1 Disorder: Using Long-Acting Injectables – Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec (OPQ)

After completion of the program, participants will be able to:

• Distinguish common atypical antipsychotic medications, including long-acting injectables, based on mechanism of action, adverse effects and mode of administration
• Propose strategies to maximize functionality and prevent relapses for patients with schizophrenia or bipolar 1 disorder
• Support patients with schizophrenia and bipolar 1 disorder in achieving their therapeutic goals
