Pediatric Growth Hormone: Optimizing Growth and Health throughout the Life Cycle – MOC Section 1

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

1. Suggest an assessment to evaluate for GHD or identify the need for a referral of a patient to a pediatric endocrinologist to confirm a diagnosis of GHD.
2. Be familiar with basic investigations to exclude non-endocrine causes of short stature
3. Understand effective therapeutic options to treat GHD.
4. Recognize adherence to therapy as a barrier to optimal management of GHD.
