On completion of this program, participants will be better able to:

  1. Describe the prevalence and incidence of overactive bladder (OAB), as well as the impact of the condition on the daily lives of patients
  2. Identify the symptoms associated with overactive bladder and differentiate OAB from other conditions
  3. Review treatments for overactive bladder, including the different mechanisms of action and side effects of drug classes used in treatment, and explain treatment options to patients
  4. Identify the key signs and symptoms that warrant referral to a specialist, to ensure patient safety.
