Long-term weight management is challenging in primary care and requires a holistic approach involving skillful and empathetic counselling. Hedonic eating is just one aspect of obesity management, but it is an aspect that patients often struggle with. This video-based program interviews experts in obesity management to explore themes in counselling patients about hedonic eating. The program will support primary care providers in engaging their patients in effective conversations to address the underlying mechanisms of hedonic eating in obesity.
