Not Your Average Clot-Risk – New Recommendations for Cancer-associated Thrombosis – Canadian Council On Continuing Education In Pharmacy (CCCEP)

After completion of the program, participants will be

1. Able to describe the risk of thrombosis in patients with cancer
2. Familiar with Canadian consensus recommendations for the management of cancer-associated thrombosis
3. Able to educate patients with cancer about the risk of thrombosis and symptoms of DVT and PE and provide monitoring and follow up of CAT patients receiving anticoagulant therapy
4. Able to involve the patient in their CAT management plan
