On completion of this program, participants will be better able to:

1. Identify and differentiate between the clinical presentations of inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and urticaria
2. Describe and put into practice, the treatment approaches (both pharmacological and non-pharmacological) that many doctors may prescribe to manage inflammatory skin conditions.
3. Reinforce the role of the nurse in providing patient education, psychosocial evaluation and support.
