Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Understand the definition of Overactive Bladder (OAB) and Urgency Urinary Incontinence (UUI).
- Comprehend the impact of Overactive Bladder (OAB) and Urgency Urinary Incontinence (UUI) on patient Quality of Life (QOL) and its psychosocial effects.
- Acknowledge the importance of case finding, management, treatment and follow-up with OAB/UUI patients with special consideration for the treatment of the elderly.
- Apply greater awareness and knowledge of patient expectations with a focus on living and aging well with OAB.
- Recommend and prescribe treatment for OAB/UUI and address the importance of treatment adherence with patients, including the elderly.
