Course Description

This video series provides a practical guide to intermittent catheterization (IC) for individuals with neurogenic bladder, featuring real-world demonstrations by people with lived experience. You will learn precise “landmarking” and gauze techniques to ensure pain-free insertion, as well as strategies for maintaining a sterile environment in various settings, such as public washrooms. The content emphasizes that while every body and mobility level is unique, mastering these techniques—supplemented by clinical animation and peer support—can significantly improve independence and bladder health.
