Course Description

Type 2 diabetes is one of the most common chronic conditions seen in primary care. Many patients are diagnosed with diabetes through routine screening in primary care or by identification by specialists during a referral for another condition or through screening at hospital if the patient experiences a health issue. At diagnosis of type 2 diabetes, clinicians should assess the patient, set glycemic targets, and initiate the appropriate treatment plan to reach these goals. In this webinar, international experts will review the important clinical considerations at diagnosis and provide clinicians with practical strategies to improve collaboration with the diverse healthcare team that manages patients with type 2 diabetes.
