Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

• Describe the prevalence and impact of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
• Review the efficacy and common adverse effects of ADHD medications
• Recognize the difference between pharmaceutical equivalence and therapeutic equivalence of ADHD medications
• Discuss the role of the pharmacist in optimizing ADHD treatment outcomes through counselling patients, setting treatment goals, and monitoring for response and adverse effects
