Course Description

This course explores the diagnosis and management of drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE), emphasizing second- and third-generation anti-seizure medications, genetic considerations, and targeted treatments. Participants will also learn about alternative therapies, including dietary approaches, surgery, and neurostimulation, and the unique challenges of transitioning care from paediatric to adult services. This program equips healthcare professionals with strategies to enhance outcomes for individuals with DRE.
