Varicella Zoster: Offering Protection at Any Age – Canadian Council On Continuing Education In Pharmacy (CCCEP)

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

1. Recall the current epidemiology of varicella and herpes zoster infection in Canada and review the need for vaccination.
2. Review the evidence regarding optimal dosing and efficacy of varicella and herpes zoster vaccines for optimal disease prevention.
3. Counsel patients and caregivers regarding when and for whom varicella and herpes zoster vaccination is indicated.
