Learning objectives
Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Describe the incidence, prevalence and risk of spasticity in post-stroke patients.
- Identify which patients should be treated for post-stroke spasticity, and why.
- Discuss the role of botulinum toxin type A in improving patient outcomes, including supporting real world evidence.
- Explore the role of pharmacists in helping post-stroke patients transition from the in-patient to out-patient / long term care setting.
