Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Understand the definition of Overactive Bladder (OAB) and Urgency Urinary Incontinence (UUI).
- Comprehend the impact of Overactive Bladder (OAB) and Urgency Urinary Incontinence (UUI) on patient Quality of Life (QOL) and its psychosocial effects.
- Acknowledge the importance of case finding and referral for diagnosis, in addition to management, treatment and follow-up with OAB/UUI patients, with special consideration for treatment of the elderly.
- Manage patient expectations with a focus on living and aging well with OAB.
- Recommend treatment for OAB/UUI and address the importance of treatment adherence with patients, including the elderly.
