Welcome to the Spring 2022 COVID-19 update. In this four-part webinar series you will hear from national COVID-19 experts Dr. Peter Lin, Dr. Vivien Brown and Dr. Allison McGeer. They will provide healthcare professionals with the latest update on COVID-19, the vaccines and the answers to the questions they are getting in practice.

In the second webinar in this series, our panel had a discussion on the role of boosters in maintaining protection from COVID-19. This included a discussion on the current recommendations for first and second boosters in Canada. They also discussed the importance of boosters, especially in immunocompromised and older adults. They also discussed the safety of these booster doses in your practice. After this webinar, viewers should have a more comprehensive view of the role of boosters in COVID-19 protection.
