The goal of this online program is to aid pharmacists in recognizing and broadening their knowledge of migraine, its treatment and prevention with a focus on episodic migraine.
The clinical presentation of migraine and episodic migraine will be illustrated through case-based learning, with the goal of increasing confidence in understanding the burden of migraine, while advancing knowledge about available treatments to alleviate the pain and disabling effects experienced by migraine sufferers.

Learning objectives
- Recognize the burden of migraine and its
debilitating effects. - Differentiate episodic migraine from other primary
headache types by identifying phases, symptoms and occurrence. - Identify current
treatment and management options for episodic migraine and evaluate new
innovative treatment options for acute or preventive treatment. - Counsel patients
about managing episodic migraine with appropriate treatment and patient
resources.
