After completing this program, GPs will be better able to:
- Recognise the diverse range of non-motor symptoms caused by Parkinson’s disease (PD), and the burden on quality of life for patients with PD.
- Identify the relevance of gastrointestinal complications in the management of advancing PD.
- Advise patients on the practical management of sleep dysfunction caused by PD.
- Present appropriate and safe pharmacotherapy options to patients with PD and identify when referral to a neurologist is required.
