Integrating Travel Health into your Practice – Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec (OPQ)

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

1. Determine the impact a traveller’s itinerary and their health on their risk of travel-related illness
2. Counsel travellers on basic travel health recommendations to reduce their risk of illness, injury or disease while away
3. Review the current CATMAT recommendations on travellers’ diarrhea, hepatitis A and hepatitis B vaccines
4. Explore common immunization administration issues seen in primary care
5. Determine which travellers should be referred to a travel-health professional
