Course Description

People living with diabetes are at a higher risk for stroke than those without diabetes. Recent evidence shows that certain drugs have demonstrated an ability to reduce the risk of stroke in individuals with type 2 diabetes.

This module will review data from cardiovascular outcome trials and meta-analyses, along with the recommendations from the Saudi Diabetes Clinical Practice (SDCP) Guidelines, for optimizing cardiovascular care in this population.

This program has received an educational grant or in-kind support from Novo Nordisk.
