Course Description

Herpes Zoster (HZ) is associated with a wide range of complications, including post-herpetic neuralgia, ocular complications, and an increased risk of stroke. Clinicians play an important role in educating patients about HZ and by administering appropriate vaccines. This video will discuss which individuals are at high risk of HZ and its associated complications and will review strategies to help clinicians implement NACI recommendations and optimize HZ catch-up immunizations. The overall goal of the program is to increase clinicians’ confidence in protecting eligible adults against HZ.

This program has received an educational grant or in-kind support from GSK Grants.
