Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify the key aspects of diagnosing and treating eczema, specifically atopic dermatitis (AD).
  2. Describe the safe and appropriate use of various treatment options, including the important role of topical calcineurin inhibitors (TCI) in achieving and maintaining control of eczema.
  3. Implement the 4 cornerstones of eczema management in pharmacy practice.
  4. Improve treatment adherence and patient outcomes in eczema through effective counselling, patient education, and by utilizing the pharmacist scope of practice.
