After participating in this program, pharmacists will be better able to:

1. Differentiate between A1 and A2 beta-casein proteins
2. Evaluate the evidence for digestion and other health outcomes associated with the absence of A1 beta-casein
3. Counsel patients on available formula options for infants with unsettled behaviour or gastrointestinal symptoms
4. Counsel patients regarding strategies to overcome symptoms in toddlers who present with intolerance to some milk-based formulas.
