After successful completion of the program, the participant will be able to:
- Make recommendations that support the safe, effective, and appropriate use of DOAC therapy in patients with NVAF based on patient characteristics.
- Describe the role of the pharmacist in stroke prevention for patients who have NVAF and are receiving DOAC therapy.
- Counsel patients on the safe and appropriate use of DOAC medications to support best outcomes including adherence.
