On completion of this program, participants will be better able to:

  1. Identify patients at risk of recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs), and how these relate to pathogen resistance
  2. Describe the link between UTIs, poor pelvic floor and urinary incontinence
  3. Advise patients on achieving optimal urine specimen collection
  4. Review the different treatment options that maximise efficacy and safety, and counsel patients on prevention options.
