Course Description

Influenza ranks among the top 10 leading causes of death in Canada. Protecting all Canadians over the age of 6 months is recommended by the National Advisory Committee on immunization (NACI) statement on seasonal influenza vaccine. This influenza program will discuss the importance of protecting every member of a young family against influenza with an influenza vaccine, and strategies to increase vaccine uptake.
