Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Describe how recent changes in the law have allowed patients the right to seek medical assistance in dying (MAID).
- Detail the respective roles of registered nurses and nurse practitioners in caring for patients requesting or receiving MAID under the new laws.
- Conduct their role in accordance with federal and local laws when caring for patients requesting or receiving MAID.
