Identification and management of exacerbating vs. symptomatic COPD – Mainpro+

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

1. Review current Canadian guidelines and recommendations about management of patients with COPD with symptoms and exacerbations
2. Understand the distribution and natural history of patients with COPD in terms of uncontrolled symptoms, breathlessness and exacerbations
3. Counsel patients on proper use of medication and treatment adherence for optimal disease control
4. Apply appropriate management and therapy strategies for patients with COPD exacerbations and for patients still suffering from COPD symptoms
