While some women go through the transition of menopause with few or less noticeable symptoms, others experience vasomotor effects or “hot flashes” and genitourinary symptoms that affect their daily lives. Many women suffer through an unnecessary burden of discomfort related to the effects of this physiological transition when they could benefit from available treatment options.
The objective of this online program is to help educate and support Canadian physicians in understanding the effects of menopausal symptoms related to estrogen deficiency and in learning best practices for treating these symptoms, with a focus on current and new treatment options for their patients.
This program has received financial support and an unrestricted educational grant from Pfizer Canada ULC.
