Course Description

Welcome to the Spring 2022 COVID-19 update. In this four-part webinar series you will hear from national COVID-19 experts Dr. Peter Lin, Dr. Vivien Brown and Dr. Allison McGeer. They will provide healthcare professionals with the latest update on COVID-19, the vaccines and the answers to the questions they are getting in practice.

In the first webinar in this series, the panel provided a review of COVID-19 across the age spectrum. They started with a discussion on the impact of COVID-19 on children and the evolving role of immunization in this age group. They reviewed the benefits and risk considerations for COVID-19 immunization in adolescents and young adults. For the middle age group, they reviewed the impact of comorbidities and being immunocompromised on COVID-19 and vaccine effectiveness. Finally, they review the impact of COVID-19 and the importance of protection in the older age group. The goal is to provide the viewer with some key answers to questions that they see frequently in their practices.

This program has been supported by Moderna.
