Course Description

Recent evidence regarding diabetes remission has increased the number of options for patients with type 2 diabetes. This module describes the evidence for both remission and regulation of type 2 diabetes and provides an example of how clinicians can engage with patients to facilitate shared decision-making. The module also reviews how to individualize diabetes treatment according to patient values, preferences, and priorities.
