The COVID-19 pandemic has created significant patient challenges for both patients and healthcare professionals. The first reported cases of SARS-COV-2 pneumonia were reported in Wuhan China in December 2019. As of May 10th, 2020 there were over 4 million confirmed cases, in 187 countries with a total of approximately 280,000 deaths.
In Saudi Arabia, there were 39,048 confirmed COVID-19 cases reported with 246 deaths and over 11,000 people recovered from the infection as of May 10th. This infection has impacted the management of patients with asthma and respiratory conditions.
This program is designed to provide clinicians with information to optimize asthma care during the COVID-19 pandemic.
