Glucose Monitoring: Optimizing Diabetes Care and Management | Module 2 – Getting the Whole Glucose Story: Using Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP) for Optimal Diabetes Management
Advances in diabetes management have resulted in the development of sensor-based glucose monitoring technologies that help people with diabetes achieve optimal glycemic control. Familiarizing clinicians with sensor-based glucose monitoring technologies and data interpretation will help to increase knowledge and understanding, supporting clinicians in recommending it to patients, and optimizing its use in clinical practice.
This program reviews the use of the ambulatory glucose profile (AGP) to facilitate interpretation and understanding of sensor-based glucose monitoring data to inform therapeutic and behavioural interventions for improved diabetes care.

Learning objectives
Upon completion of this continuing education program, participants will be able to:
- Interpret the key pieces of information available from the ambulatory glucose profile (AGP)
- Describe the benefits of using the AGP to improve diabetes management
- Apply the AGP data in clinical practice to support individualized diabetes management
