Novo Nordisk and MDBriefCase are pleased to invite you to the upcoming event. Join us in-person on Friday, October 20th to learn about complex relationship between obesity, type 2 diabetes and MASLD. The workshop will review current standard of care provided to these patients and how interprofessional collaboration can be used to reduce the disease and economic burden of these diseases.

Upon completion of the workshop, you will be able to:

  1. Understand the roles of various specialists including endocrinologists, diabetologists, gastroenterologists, hepatologists, and cardiologists in the care of patients with type 2 diabetes, obesity, MASLD, and CVD. Emphasize the importance of improved interprofessional collaboration to enhance patient outcomes.
  2. Review current optimal management strategies for these conditions, recognize common barriers to effective care, and strategize ways to overcome these barriers to ensure efficient management.
  3. Explore and determine appropriate interventions, like GLP-1RA, which provide a comprehensive approach to addressing the underlying medical conditions. Discuss the future potential of such strategies and emphasize collaborative efforts in their application.
