Practical Immunization Tips for COVID-19 Vaccines
Welcome to the Spring 2022 COVID-19 update. In this four-part webinar series you will hear from national COVID-19 experts Dr. Peter Lin, Dr. Vivien Brown and Dr. Allison McGeer. They will provide healthcare professionals with the latest update on COVID-19, the vaccines and the answers to the questions they are getting in practice.
In the fourth and final webinar, the panel focused on providing healthcare professionals with some practical information regarding COVID-19 and immunization. This included a discussion on the goals of immunization, how to catch people up if they have not received all of their recommended vaccine doses, managing deviations from the recommended vaccine schedule, managing a patient who refuses to receive the vaccine, and the potential role of another booster in the fall.
