Upon completion of this continuing education program, participants will be better able to:
- Review the key changes in the Diabetes Canada 2020 update of the Pharmacotherapy in Type 2 Diabetes chapter
- Discuss optimal therapeutic regimens based on patient features, medication characteristics, clinical status, patient preferences and accessibility of treatment
- Discuss how pharmacists can integrate these recommendations when managing people with type 2 diabetes in their practice
