Learning objectives

Après avoir complété ce programme de formation continue, le participant sera mieux en mesure de :

  • Reconnaître les facteurs de risque cardio-rénaux et les bienfaits de la protection cardio-rénale chez les personnes atteintes de diabète de type 2
  • Discuter des données probantes sur les résultats cardio-rénaux conférés par les agents antihyperglycémiants, incluant la réduction des événements indésirables cardiovasculaires majeurs (EICM) et l’hospitalisation en raison de l’insuffisance cardiaque (HIC)
  • Identifier les agents pharmacologiques ayant démontré des bienfaits cardio-rénaux et qui sont recommandés pour certaines personnes atteintes de diabète de type 2
