Women's Health
Current and Emerging Treatment Options for Common Menopausal Symptoms (CCCEP)
While some women go through the transition of menopause with few or noticeable symptoms, others experience vasomotor effects or “hot flashes” and genitourinary symptoms that affect their daily lives. Many women suffer through an unnecessary burden of discomfort related to the effects of this physiologic transition when they could benefit from available treatment options.
The objective of this online program is to help educate and support Canadian pharmacists about best practices for treating menopausal symptoms related to estrogen deficiency, understanding the effects of these symptoms, with a focus on current and new treatment options.
This program has received financial support and an unrestricted educational grant from Pfizer Canada ULC.
