A Patient-Centric Approach to Managing Testosterone Deficiency in a Patient with Comorbidities
The Canadian prevalence of testosterone deficiency (TD) is estimated to be approximately 25% among men aged 40-62 years. Recognizing and treating TD is important as it is associated with significant symptoms and a number of comorbidities, and can negatively impact quality of life. Familiarizing clinicians with the evolving treatment options available for TD will help to increase knowledge and understanding, supporting clinicians in confidently managing patients with TD in clinical practice.
This program is a 15-minute CFPC accredited eCPD program for Primary Care Clinicians across Canada. Using an interactive patient case, this program will address a patient’s unique characteristics and concerns, and guide you in optimizing testosterone therapy for testosterone deficiency.
