Description du cours

From the beginning of the pandemic there were many individuals infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus who had symptoms that persisted. While some of this was thought to be due to organ damage due to hospitalization, there are people who had mild symptoms and experienced debilitating symptoms for months and in some cases years after the initial infection. Long COVID, also called post-acute COVID-19 syndrome (PACS), is the persistence of symptoms beyond the acute infection. In the first of this two-part webinar, international and national experts will provide some background on the condition, including prevalence, symptoms, risk factors and what this means for your patients.

This program has been supported by Moderna.
