Simplifying Mealtime Insulin – New Opportunities in Diabetes – Canadian Council On Continuing Education In Pharmacy (CCCEP)

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

• Describe the available mealtime insulin formulations and their delivery devices.
• Recommend appropriate formulations for mealtime insulin, based on patients’ dose and needs.
• Recognize and minimize risk of errors when changes are made to mealtime insulin.
• Counsel patients about the safe and effective use of mealtime insulin.
