Managing Adult ADHD in Primary Care – Mainpro+

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

1. Recognize key symptoms of ADHD in adults.
2. Employ one or more rating scales to assess ADHD and monitor the effectiveness of pharmacotherapy.
3. Identify first-line pharmacotherapy options for management of ADHD.
4. Utilize guideline recommendations for the selection and monitoring of ADHD pharmacotherapy.
5. In partnership with patients, set quantitative (rating scale-based) and qualitative goals of therapy for ADHD.
6. Outline strategies for management of side effects related to ADHD pharmacotherapy.
7. Describe recommended approaches for titration, optimization and changes in medications used in management of ADHD.
