Description du cours

The Canadian prevalence of testosterone deficiency (TD) is estimated to be approximately 25% among men aged 40‐ 62 years. Recognizing and treating TD is important as it is associated with significant symptoms and a number of comorbidities, and can negatively impact quality of life. Familiarizing clinicians with the evolving treatment options available for TD will help to increase knowledge and understanding, supporting clinicians in confidently managing patients with TD in clinical practice.

This program is a 30‐minute CFPC accredited eCPD program for Primary Care Clinicians across Canada. It reviews the role of testosterone in overall health, the clinical approach to the diagnosis and management of testosterone deficiency, and individualizing testosterone therapy for patients.

This program has received financial support and an unrestricted educational grant from Acerus.
